Several years ago, Celeritas began dedicating a significant amount of our product R&D effort and consulting services work
toward addressing two specific areas of need in the utility industry:
- Meter data feed process - helping customers develop and implement
accurate & reliable meter data feeds between their field meters, EMS, SCADA and internal billing systems
- Meter database management - we developed a robust meter database platform in order to offer utilities a
secure & stable meter data repository to capture, store, query and report on this extremely critical financial data
Over the years, Celeritas has solved various meter data related problems for our customers by providing
our 'real world' meter data feed process experience and by installing our
Meter Data Management System (MDMS) product, which is the
"software of choice" for many utilities.
Database Expertise is the Key:
A key part of every meter data project is assisting customers with locating,
automating and loading meter data from legacy meters, EMS/SCADA and 3rd party applications—all residing on
complex databases.
Celeritas has a great deal of relational database expertise in the latest technologies, and unlike
'application focused' vendors, our seasoned consultants are well-versed in extracting data from just about any
legacy database system.
