Celeritas provides a tiered approach to hosting services so that your
company can select the services that it needs.
Physical
The physical site where hosting equipment is located includes features common to any enterprise class
hosting facility. The equipment room is a raised floor, climate controlled room with
electronically controlled access. Celeritas' equipment is securely segregated from other
equipment located in the facility. Equipment is connected to an uninterruptible power
supply (UPS) with diesel generator backup in the event of an extended power outage.
Telecommunications
Enterprise class communications services are provided by our hosting facility. These include
dedicated leased lines between our hosting facility and your offices, or other dedicated
connectivity based on your needs. Selected Internet connection speeds, dial-up
connectivity services, POTS lines and many other communication options are also available.
These services are provided directly to you through our partnership with communications providers.
Hardware
All equipment is provided, maintained and supported exclusively
by Celeritas Technologies. This includes:
- Maintenance and support of servers, firewall systems, switches, racks, remote access
servers (RAS) and other equipment
- Maintenance of the operating systems required for various hardware devices
- Implementation of operating system patches and hardware upgrades
- Default services on Unix and Windows NT operating systems
- Support for other operating system platforms
Software
Software required to operate various platforms is maintained
exclusively by Celeritas. This includes database software, application server
software and other application related software packages.
Database Administration
Celeritas' hosting services include basic database administration services such as:
- Monitoring database availability
- Storage utilization tracking
- Backup/restore integrity
- Performance monitoring
Application Support
Optionally, Celeritas can provide support for your custom application.
